1) FashionForTheFamily is a ‘full service webshop’ which means amongst others that we do not have shop-personnel or a helpdesk. You will find all information that is available to us at the Product-information on our website. We can imagine that you probably still have some questions. In our FAQ, you will find a detailed outline of most common questions.
- Because of our extensive product-line we are unfortunately not able to provide you answers with regard to our products and sizes if not described along with the product etc.

 

2) About Us. Who is FashionForTheFamily? We are a webshop and a mutual initiative of 2 companies: Procon Invictra (the owner) and the Quist Schoenengroep (Shoes). All information and products are available only via this website. Our company is designed in such an efficient way that we can not offer a customer service call-centre. We do not have a fancy brick-n-mortar shop. Only an office and a storage-warehouse, the savings we realise with this concept we pass on to our customers, a.o. by free shipping to Dutch addresses and heavily subsidised shipping-rates outside The Netherlands. All correspondence is done via e-mail but needless to say we immediately give you a call in case we notice you need our help!

We have the hallmark of the Dutch homeshopping trustmark for safe & secured internet-shopping! Please read in point#13 below more about the Trustmarks and IECA-membership.

 

In About Us you will read more about us, our activities and our company profile. Our motto is ‘Exclusive Lifestyle Fashion’ and we daily add new products with affordable products (SALE) to the exclusive fashion-brands (of Scott McAllister, ScottyKids, Pom Pom, Seguro and many others). We are specialist in skirts with a large collection.

 

3) Our Principles. What’s our policy about doing business? How do we treat our customers and what are our corporate values and ethics? Things like the exclusion of child-labour during the production of our fashion-labels in India, our guarantees to exclude harmful chemicals or substances in the fabrics, our environmental policy and policy about customer-treatment etc. You will find it all in Our Principles.

6) Many questions our customers have about our payment-possibilities. To serve our customers the best FashionForTheFamily provides a wide range of (international) Payment-methods. You will find an extensive desciption here.

 

7) FashionForTheFamily buys worldwide in order to guarantee the exclusivity ánd unicity of our products. The sizes in the product-description is in accordance with the Dutch sizing-chart. As Dutch people are the tallest in the world we kindly advise you to 'convert' this yourself using the Size Chart.
- Here you also will find the conversion-rates from centimeters into inches and vice-versa.

 

8) Under Our Brands you will find an overview of the brands FashionForTheFamily carries in its webshop. Besides this we carry tens of brands we receive from our contacts with international fashion-houses. These brands are sometimes only traded in a specific area in the world.

 

9) FashionForTheFamily has frequent contacts with the media. Under News you will find an overview of our contacts with the media as well as an historic overview of our history.

 

10) We receive many enthusiastic reactions from our customers. In our Guestbook you will find and overview and you are kindly invited to leave your comments here as well. 

Only registered guest can leave a message or a review in our Guestbook, hence you can rest assured that messages are only from 'experienced' customers.

 

11) With the product-configurator of Bivolino we allow our customers to design their own complete shirt. However we can only provide this service for Dutch residents.

 

12) In the previous part you have seen that we produce part of our collection in India. This involves company-visits and during such visits in India the idea raised to contribute something back to this country. In our eyes company-sponsoring needs to apply to certain criteria: 1) there must be a relationship between our activities in fashion and a specific project 2) sponsoring must be monitored via a reliable and professional organisation. in other words it must be an 'ANBI-instelling" (Dutch Hallmark institute for charity organisations) with a CBF-hallmark ánd managed on the spot 3) charity aid to the poor needs to be by training and coaching only, not a ‘simple’ donation of funds. After this investment the pupils are supposed to be able to manage their own life.

13) FashionForTheFamily.com is an official recognised and certified webshop with, besides the Dutch homeshopping trustmark, the European IECA-Trustmark and membership of the International E-commerce Association.

 

14) Our General Conditions of Sales are created as a result of consultations between the Nederlandse Thuiswinkel Organisatie (Dutch Home-shopping Association) and the Consumentenbond (The Consumer Union) as a result of the Coördinatiegroep Zelfreguleringsoverleg (CZ, Coordination-group consultation about Self-regulation) of the Sociaal Economische Raad (SER, The Social & Economic Board in The Netherlands, a governmental institution).

Despite the fact that we (of caurse) do not have insight in your bankdetails during the payment-process - that goes via an encryptic secured SSL-coding between you and your bank - you do give us your personal data. In our Privacy Statement you read how we guarantee your privay at the highest level of safety. We never provide nor sell your personal data to third parties. FashionForTheFamily applies the highest level of discretion, confidentiality and privacy with regard to this subject in accordance to the regulations of the CBP (College Bescherming Persoonsgegevens which is the Dutch Board of Data Protection) in The Hague - The Netherlands.

17) Despite all our efforts, prevention and quality control it can happen unfortunately that the product does not suit your expectations. This can even happen the best. However we are very well aware that this is exactly one of the main issues where we can (and want) make a difference! Because of that we created a special procedure to solve your complaint as fast as possible in a mutual satisfactory way.

18) International Shipping. Buy tax-free with us!

FashionForTheFamily offers its overseas customers tax-free shopping! With our special 'Dutch immigrants-tariff' you get free-shipping worldwide! This tariff is applicable for the following 5 countries: Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and South-Africa.

*** We are specialised in shipments to Canada! Our webshop closes at 24.00 hrs pm at Sunday's Canadian time (PDT-Pacific Daylight Time, allowing even our British Columbian customers to shop on Saturday-evening) which is 09.00 hrs am on Sunday-morning in Holland.
