FashionForTheFamily.com is an official recognised and certified webshop with, besides the Dutch homeshopping trustmark, the European IECA-Trustmark and membership of the International E-commerce Association.

At the time of its founding in 2009 FashionForTheFamily was certified by the Dutch Trustmark organisation for homeshopping: het Thuiswinkel Waarborg (www.ThuisWinkel.org). All (aspiring) members undergo a severe legal ballot during the certificationprocess. This ensures that all legal requirements applicable and isseud by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and tested by the Accreditation Council - are met.
The Thuiswinkel Organization, or in short: Thuiswinkel.org is a large professional organization representing the home shopping interests represented in The Netherlands. Out of the approximately 40,000 webstores in The Netherlands less than 5% is (prospective) member, which are only the most professional online stores. However, these top 5 generates more than 70% of online sales in The Netherlands.

FashionForTheFamily.com changed end 2011 to another Trustmark organisation that offers in addition to the Code also an independent customer feedback on its website. This makes the mark even more transparent and independent, because the inspection is carried out by the independent foundation and the customers who are able to provide their feedback about FashionForTheFamily.com on this site. This replaced the 'inhouse' Guestbook, many online store owners gave input themselves on their own Guestbook. This fraud caused a declining value of the online Guestbook. Info Thuiswinkel.org: untill today the General Conditions of FashionForTheFamily are derived from the conditions that have been established in consultation between the Dutch Thuiswinkel Organization and the Consumers under the Self-regulation Consultation (CZ) of the Social Economic Council (SER).

 The Thuiswinkel Waarborg itself as a key hallmark of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is evaluated. The test is performed by the Accreditation Council. Customers buying online from members of the Thuiswinkel.org can rest assured that they do business with a reliable business partner. These stores meet all legal requirements of the Act "Distance Selling" and meet the requiremets of safety in payment guarantees (by an SSL-protection). Check the website of the www.thuiswinkel.org.


The Thuiswinkel.org was founded on December 20, 2000 by 38 companies. It was the formal merger of two existing organizations: the Dutch Association Mail Order and Online Retailers Association. The Dutch mail order (since 1956) was the Association that acted as an umbrella organization for companies that sell to consumers from a distance. The Online Retailers Association was founded in the spring of 2000 to the common interests of online retailers' interests. Both organizations had so many similarities that the members decided to join forces and collectively continue a new association: Thuiswinkel.org.

EuroSafeShop and the IECA membership: this is the only official European merchant mark that is issued by the IECA Foundation-Europe. This foundation promotes safe shopping on the Internet in Europe, an important part of the policy of the former EU Commissioner Ms Neelie Kroes. The EuroSafeShop-label gives consumers more security and provides companies the opportunity to show they reliability. Webshops with this mark are aware of the IECA-Europe Code of Conduct based on European legislation. Thus, holders of this label meet the following requirements:

- Clear understanding of prices and costs
- Clear information about shipping and complaints
- Address and contact details
- Secure payment with reliable partners
